I have been in private practice as a counsellor and psychotherapist since 1998.
My interest in anger management began with five years experience in facilitating Men’s Stopping Violence programmes while also working extensively in this field in my private practice.
I was a Family Court Counsellor for 14 years. This broadened this specialty area into the area of relationships, couples counselling, communication and conflict resolution.
I work also in areas where anger can often occur, such as separation and divorce, grief and loss, depression, men’s issues, parenting and step parenting, trauma and post traumatic stress.
My other interests are my family, surfing, fishing, walking and sitting in the sun with a cup of tea doing absolutely nothing (rarely achieved).
Qualifications:
Graduate Diploma of Psychotherapy

I am a member of New Zealand Association of Counsellors and abide by their code of Ethics.
