I have been working in the helping professions for almost 40 years - firstly as a social worker, then as a counsellor, group facilitator and psychotherapist.
I specialise in working with anger and domestic violence. I have faciliated men's Living Without Violence programmes for 30 years. This is work I love because I see the positive benefits of change for the men and their families.
I am the author of six books: Men Making Changes: Breaking the cycle of anger and abuse in family relationships, Invisible Wounds, Invisible Wounds Workbook, Power Games, Living Life Out Loud and Challenged by Childhood.

I have been in private practice as a counsellor and psychotherapist since 1998.
My interest in anger management began with five years experience in facilitating Men’s Stopping Violence programmes while also working extensively in this field in my private practice.
I was a Family Court Counsellor for 14 years. This broadened this specialty area into the area of relationships, couples counselling, communication and conflict resolution.
